Using the World Call Card Systems is conveniently easy. Below is a step by step walk through of getting your account and making your first call.
1) Of course the first step is to purchase your World Call Card Account
2) When you receive the account in your email it will consist of 14 numbers – the first 10 numbers is the account number – the last 4 is the pin
(In the event that you did not receive your World Call Card Account in your email within thirty minutes and you have checked your spam and junk mail folders – open a trouble ticket immediately so that we may get the problem resolved. Be sure to include the email address you used when you placed the order.)
3) The next step is to call a local World Call Card Access Portal using your telephone, cell phone, or other communication device. If in the US you can simply use the Toll Free 1-800-687-989 World Call Card number.
You would want to choose one that is the lowest cost for you to call, hopefully there is a local number for you to access the system. If not, choose the number that is of the lowest cost to you or use the 1-800 number if provided which costs a few cents a minute* to use but may be the best alternative if a local number does not exist for you to use. *See World Call Card Access Portal Listing which will indicate the exact cost of using the 1-800 number or equivalent.
4) When you call the World Call Card Access Portal the system will prompt you to choose a language. Press 1 for English, 2 for French, or 3 for Spanish. Choose the appropriate language for you, if you do not understand any of them it is still possible to use the system – choose English by pressing 1, then enter your account number, the system will then speak and ask you for your pin number – when it quits speaking enter the four digit pin number. It will seak some more but you are now ready to enter the phone number that you want to call.
5) Calling your party – when entering the phone number you want to call you must dial as if you are within the United States calling. If you are dialing a US or Canada destination the number you would dial is in the following format:
1-areacode-phonenumber
If dialing outside the US or Canada you must dial the US International Dialing code of 011, then the applicable country code, city code, phone number as in the following format:
011-countrycode-citycode-phonenumber
6) the call is placed and you are talking to the party on the other end at the destination number you chose
